Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) position available in an acute care setting on the second or third floor of a healthcare facility. The role involves providing comprehensive patient care on a Med Surg floor, with work scheduled for night shifts. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Location: Not specified
- Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum 36 hours per week, for a duration of 13 weeks starting from 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026
- Required Qualifications: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of start date; 2+ years of relevant experience; valid medical surgical nursing license; general experience of at least 1 year
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on general medical-surgical floors; Cerner electronic medical record system proficiency
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information:
- Blocked scheduling not approved
- 48-hour weekly guarantees not approved
- Maximum of 4 days/nights off per 13-week contract
