Description

Job Summary:
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in a healthcare facility where the nurse provides specialized, patient-centered care to critically ill patients. The role involves delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patient recovery and safety throughout shifts.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 11.5 hours per shift, minimum of 34.5 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a BSN program; licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state; at least 2 years of critical care or telemetry experience; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; experience in neuro ICU, neuro surg, stroke, EVD Lumbar Drains, Irraflow EVD RAUMEDIC procedures; minimum of 0 years of experience in the specialty.
  • Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic health record experience, two or more years of critical care nursing experience, travel experience of at least 1 year for travel roles.
  • Schedule: 11.5-hour night shifts, starting on 09/28/2026 and ending on 12/26/2026.
  • Additional Information: The position requires performing charge nurse duties as assigned, coordinating with management to ensure adequate supplies and staffing, documenting accurately in compliance with regulatory standards, facilitating patient throughput, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills, evidence-based practice knowledge, and the ability to support a safe and high-reliability environment.
