Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) needed for a unit specializing in medical-surgical patient care in a healthcare facility setting. The position involves providing inpatient care to a diverse patient population, primarily the elderly, with common diagnoses such as post-operative orthopedics, general surgery, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, and alcohol-related conditions. The role requires adapting to rotating shifts, including nights, and working every other weekend and holiday as scheduled.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights, 36 hours per week, starting from 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/12/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact License with proof of state residency; Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 2 previous travel assignments completed; experience with post-surgical drains, central line care and maintenance, Foley catheter insertion, G tubes/J tubes/NG tubes/PEG tubes, IV medication administration and IV push, wound care, and oxygen therapy.
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic electronic health record experience; telemetry experience.
- Additional Information: This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, managing various medical devices and treatments, and following standard clinical procedures and safety protocols.
