Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves applying the nursing process to patient care, teaching patients and their significant others, documenting care in medical records, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate overall patient care. The position requires commitment to providing high-quality emergent care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Recent emergency department experience of at least 2 years within an acute care hospital setting; current certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) AHA; Oregon state nursing license or willingness to obtain
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure, possess strong clinical skills in emergency care, and maintain current certifications or be willing to obtain them prior to assignment.
