Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care within the surgical environment. The nurse utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient information to the healthcare team is essential to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 09/08/2026 to 12/05/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing; BLS certification; minimum of 0 years of experience in Operating Room or circulating experience of 2 or more years; level 2 or higher trauma experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Skills: Excellent computer skills; strong clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans; ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services; effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Additional Information: Robotics experience is mandatory, along with expertise in Orthopedic Trauma and Neuro surgeries. No heart experience is necessary. The shift involves rotating duties, with call requirements of one call per week (9 PM - 7 AM) and every sixth weekend (Saturday or Sunday, 7 AM - 7 PM or 7 PM - 7 AM).
