Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Plano, TX. This position involves providing critical care in a busy emergency department with a 38-bed facility, including trauma bays and specialized treatment areas. The role requires adaptable, patient-focused care in a fast-paced environment, supporting a variety of patient needs and emergency procedures.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Texas Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or compact license eligibility; BLS (American Heart Association - AHA), ACLS (American Heart Association - AHA), PALS (American Heart Association - AHA), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certifications; 0 years of experience
- Preferred Qualifications: ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
- Additional Information: Candidates should have a flexible, positive attitude and be easy-going. The unit emphasizes patient-first philosophy and may require cross-training for work at a sister facility. Scrub attire should be royal blue, preferably branded, adhering to unit dress code. Self-scheduling options available; weekend shifts and on-call duties (up to four weekends per month) may be required.
