Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) in a high-acuity, nationally-recognized cardiovascular and thoracic program. The position involves circulating in a fast-paced, complex environment supporting a team of approximately 25 surgeons. The assigned shifts are from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, with call responsibilities including one weekday and one full weekend per month, possibly more, based on staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to submit; Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); Minimum of 2 years CVOR circulating experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrubbing experience (RN preferred, not required)
• Additional Information: High-acuity environment requiring highly-skilled, experienced staff who can work with various surgeons and complex cardiovascular cases such as CABG, MVR, AVR, Kidney transplants, Robotics (Thoracic and Cardiac), Peripheral Vascular, Thoracic, Aortic Repair, Vascular Access, Hybrid procedures (TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR), Impella, IABP, ECMO. The unit has a strong emphasis on team flexibility and operational readiness for emergency and elective cases. The facility provides unit-specific orientation and requires minimum response time for call of 30 minutes. This assignment runs from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026, with travel and scheduling requirements aligning with a 24/7 care environment.
