Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse (RN) position located in New York, NY. The role involves providing specialized care in the post-anesthesia recovery environment, ensuring patient safety and stability following surgical procedures. The nurse will work within the facility's Perioperative Services team, supporting patients through the post-anesthesia recovery process.
Job Details
- Position: RN - PACU at the Perioperative Services unit
- Unit Name/Cost Center: M2 PACU/ CC# 29430
- Work Location: 1275 York Ave- Main Campus
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, flex between 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM with Saturday rotation, 1 week in a 4-week schedule including 4 days per week to meet shift requirements
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 45 years of experience, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, PACU experience required, additional critical care experience preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional critical care experience
- Additional Information: This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced post-anesthesia recovery environment, ensuring patient stability and safety following surgical procedures.
