Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology (IR) radiographer position is located in a comprehensive specialty care hospital in the region's premier medical center. The role involves operating advanced imaging equipment, supporting a variety of IR procedures, and working with adult and geriatric patient populations. The position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care within a dynamic medical environment.
Job Details:
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, with start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, minimum
- Required Qualifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, experience in radiology, sterile technique, equipment operation, and scrub skills for IR procedures
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant IR experience, ability to work in multiple settings and collaborate with diverse staff and providers
- Float: Float rotation may be required for Interventional Pain Clinic procedures
- Additional Information: The role involves supporting procedures such as peripheral interventions, biopsies, thrombolysis, EVARs, drains, and other vascular interventions. Flexibility and adaptability in different clinical situations are essential.
