Description

Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare setting. This seasonal travel role involves providing postoperative recovery care to patients immediately following surgical procedures. The RN will work in a fast-paced recovery environment, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols.

Job Details:

Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PACU RN experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; located within a reasonable distance from the facility.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech Electronic Medical Record (EMR); flexible with hours; prior experience with craniotomies or orthopedic procedures; excellent attitude and stress management skills; patient experience is a priority.
Additional Information: On-call responsibilities are required with a 30-minute response time. The unit features new equipment and technology, with an experienced staff focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
