Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a high-acuity setting. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, utilizing advanced nursing skills and adhering to facility standards. The role requires maintaining patient safety, executing the nursing process, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams during a night shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
• Location: Reno, NV
• Schedule: Night shift, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/19/2026
• Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license before start date; BLS and ACLS certifications; must pass a telemetry competency exam covering rhythm strip identification and measurement; two or more years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience; prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment.
• Additional Information: Travelers may be asked to float to other units based on organizational needs and competence level. An additional shift may be required during the schedule period. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and call shifts is expected. Renown Regional Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center, offering advanced care and specialized services.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment is highly preferred.
