Description
Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse - Night Shift - Location unspecified. This position involves working primarily on an observation unit with responsibilities extending to float to other medical-surgical units and possibly the emergency department. The role requires proficiency in electronic medical records and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Candidates must have a minimum of three years of recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend on call occasionally.
- Required Qualifications: Active BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of three years recent Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience; proficiency in Epic electronic medical records; ability to pass Telemetry/BCRA competency assessment on day one.
- Additional Information: The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours within the 13-week contract period. All requested time off must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation page to be honored. The start date is September 21, 2026, with an end date of December 21, 2026. The agency's contract must mirror the confirmation details exactly to remain in good standing.
