Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a designated healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, and providing quality nursing care to expectant mothers and their newborns in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate childbirth experiences.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or appropriate licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and a minimum of 0 years of experience in labor and delivery or related specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) and professional certification in obstetric or neonatal care is preferred.
• Additional Information: The nurse will assess patients' physical, emotional, and social needs during labor, implement care plans, monitor fetal and maternal status, and provide education and support to families. The role involves direct patient care activities in a clinical setting, documentation of patient status, and participation in team-based care. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
