Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) care is needed in a healthcare facility. This role involves caring for patients in the post-procedural phases of cardiac services and interventional radiology, with a focus on procedures such as transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and cardioversions. The position requires flexibility to work day shifts from Monday to Friday, with an emphasis on patient-centered care and teamwork.

Job Details:

• Position: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (flexibility on hours for patient care)
• Required Qualifications: Active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire, two years of experience in an acute care area (preferably Cath Lab), or ICU experience with post-cardiac care background
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TEE and cardioversions at the bedside, knowledge of pre-intra-and post-procedural care of cardiac patients, ability to manage conscious sedation and airway, and understanding of hemodynamics and hemodynamic instability
• Additional Information: The nurse must possess comprehensive knowledge in cardiac and interventional radiology patient care, demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and operate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
