Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse needed in an acute care setting for a 13-16 week assignment. The position involves working 12-hour day shifts, including working two of three major holidays, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5-6 during evening shifts. The assignment requires float to other Medical Surgical units as needed and includes mandatory overtime to ensure coverage. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. The start date is 09/21/2026, with an end date of 01/11/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, minimum of 2 years experience, flexibility to work scheduled shifts including major holidays, and able to float to other units.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Medical Surgical units, familiarity with nurse-to-patient ratios, and ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The assignment involves working with a specialized team, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and participating in on-call or overtime as needed to maintain coverage.
