Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a seasonal travel assignment in the state of Colorado. This position involves providing patient care in a busy surgical unit with a focus on vascular, hybrid, trauma, and neuro procedures. The role requires flexibility to work on a set schedule of three days per week, with a focus on teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

Schedule: Dayshift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse (RN) license, minimum 1-year current acute care operating room (OR) RN experience, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotics, Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) system, and large trauma OR facilities. Candidates with prior robotics experience and Meditech familiarity will be prioritized.
Unit Information: Main operating room with 284 beds and a staff of 55. The team includes a charge RN, trauma RN, trauma tech, and on-call staff. Patient ratios are approximately 1:1 or 1:2, with no guarantees. The unit utilizes DaVinci Robotics equipment and Meditech/CPN EMR.
Additional Information: The unit emphasizes quick response time for on-call duties, which occur Monday through Friday from 5 PM to 11 PM, with no overnight shifts required. The environment features advanced equipment and experienced staff, making it an attractive assignment for motivated OR nurses interested in trauma and neuro surgery.
