Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) registered nurse position is located in an acute care setting. The role involves providing specialized post-operative patient care, including airway management, post-procedure care, and assessment of physical, psychosocial, and psychological needs. The position requires recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU environments and adherence to established clinical protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California registered nurse license, current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, and EPIC electronic medical record experience. Requires at least 2 years of recent clinical experience in critical care or PACU in an acute care setting of similar size and complexity. Also must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of nursing process addressing physical, psychosocial, and psychological patient needs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with airway management, central lines, and post-procedure care in a critical care or PACU environment.
• Additional Information: The assignment runs from 09/14/2026 to 10/26/2026, with onboarding labs to be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start date. Candidates must have uploaded valid licensure and certifications, with references obtained within the last year. No separation time required for return staff/travelers. The maximum RTO allowed is 7 days per contract, with holiday RTO restricted to specific days.
