Description

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) located in Farmington, CT. This position involves providing acute care services in a hospital setting, supporting cardiac and peripheral procedures, and working in a fast-paced environment. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/21/2026 and end on 02/04/2027, with a 10-hour day shift and on-call nights and weekends as needed.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 02/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess and maintain or be eligible for a current RN license in the State of Connecticut. They must demonstrate graduation from an accredited nursing program, have a minimum of one year current surgical cardiology, critical care, and/or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) experience, hold ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, have Epic experience, and be available to work on a schedule that includes holidays (specified at submission).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with moderate sedation, pre/post-procedure care, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac and peripheral procedures, BSN or enrollment in a BSN program.
  • Additional Information: Previous travel experience is not required. Candidates must present time off requests during application submission. The assignment accepts local candidates within a 75-mile radius. This position requires mandatory overtime, with staff considered part of the unit and included in on-call rotations. The facility may reassign personnel to different departments or units within 30 miles of the original assignment based on clinical competence.
