Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Nights Location This ICU nursing position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced healthcare professionals to provide specialized patient care within a dedicated Intensive Care Unit. The role involves managing critically ill patients, implementing treatment plans, and working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: Responsible for delivering high-quality intensive care for critically ill patients in a hospital setting, following established protocols and best practices.
- Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience, graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided, current Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Clinical duties include monitoring patient progress, administering medications and treatments, and collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. Candidates with a minimum of two years of recent ICU nursing experience, a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, NIH Stroke Scale certification, CCRN, and experience with dialysis, SLED, or equivalent are preferred.
