Description
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty nurse in a high-volume facility located in the region. The role involves providing specialized postpartum and obstetric care in a high-acuity environment. The position is scheduled for night shifts over a 12-week contract with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, from 09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission. At least 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care, including postpartum treatment following delivery, postpartum hemorrhage management, and handling high acuity patients. Certifications required are BLS and NRP.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Magnesium Sulfate therapy, EPIC electronic health records, and JADA substance withdrawal experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required at Issaquah Campus and Edmonds Campus for postpartum, Labor and Delivery, and recovery units.
- Additional Information: The candidate must have experience managing high-risk obstetric patients, including postpartum hemorrhage, management of four-continents postpartum patients, and use of EPIC; JADA substance withdrawal experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to work nights, be flexible with assignments, and meet the clinical and procedural requirements outlined.
