Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor RN - Med Surg D35, located at a teaching hospital, provides compassionate and expert patient care in a Diabetic Renal Unit. This role involves working on a 12-hour day shift (7 AM 7 PM) with a start date of September 21, 2026, and ending on December 19, 2026. Candidates must be flexible to meet the needs of the unit and capable of functioning as a charge RN, contributing to a supportive learning environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing, active VA or Compact license, BLS certification, and flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts (7 AM 7 PM) for at least 36 hours weekly.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification, teaching hospital experience, and charge nurse experience.
• Responsibilities: Provide patient care on the Diabetic Renal Unit, perform as charge RN, and contribute to a supportive, educational environment for students and new hires.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 09/21/2026.
• Additional Information: This assignment requires prior travel experience and the ability to work weekends (2-3 per month). All RTO requests must be included in the application packet, and the facility may cancel shifts up to 36 hours prior due to census.
