The organization is seeking a Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a seasonal travel assignment in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery care in a busy, high-volume unit with a focus on neuro, stroke, and surgical procedures. The position requires flexibility to float between units and adapt to a dynamic surgical schedule.

Job Details

• Location: Englewood, CO
• Position: PACU RN (Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse)
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in PALS, ACLS, BLS; no minimum experience required; current RN license with PACU experience preferred; location in Colorado preferred.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have critical care and/or PACU experience. The unit handles high neuro volume, stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVRs, and surgeries including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics procedures. Staffed with approximately 70 team members, including RNs and patient care techs, following ASPAN standards.
• Responsibilities: Provide post-anesthesia care, monitor patients using GE monitors, adhere to unit guidelines, and manage a patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with up to 3 for same-day surgery patients.
