Hospice Nurse Hospice This hospice nursing position is based in a care center that provides short-term, end-of-life medical care in a home-like environment. The role involves delivering compassionate, comprehensive care to patients requiring intensive symptom management and emotional support, with an emphasis on personalized and holistic approaches. The position includes an on-call component and a scheduled orientation period to ensure readiness for clinical responsibilities.
Job Details
- Position description: Providing end-of-life, intensive medical care in a supportive environment while assisting patients and families with goal setting and symptom control.
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BSN or ADN degree; at least 1 year of clinical experience; ability to work in the specified location; and availability for rotating Shift Time with 12-hour Shift Hours and minimum hours per week.
- Schedule: Rotating Shift Time, 12-hour Shift Hours, minimum of 36.0 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The orientation process is 3 days from 8am to 5pm before night shifts commence. The role involves an on-call requirement of 2 shifts per month, focusing on holistic patient care, symptom management, and emotional support in a hospice setting.
