Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing post-tumor surgical interventions, with a focus on medical and surgical patient needs. The role requires delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, ensuring accurate documentation and effective communication.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA); minimum 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical oncology setting; valid nursing license; location requirements; and specific certifications as needed.
• Preferred Qualifications: Oncology certification is a plus but not required.
• Responsibilities: Delivering patient care specific to post-operative oncology patients, managing titratable and set rate drips (heparin, lidocaine, TPN), reading EFM strips, and utilizing central monitoring systems.
• Additional Information: Candidates must pass a skills exam during orientation with a minimum score of 90%, adhere to fingernail and radius policies, and demonstrate good communication, documentation, and timeliness.
