Job Summary
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in the healthcare provider organization. This role involves providing hands-on nursing care within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, adhering to regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. The RN will perform all steps of the nursing process, including assessing patients, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, as well as coordinating with other providers and educating patients and their families.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Clinical Nurse (CN) is an RN who provides evidence-based, patient-centered care in the ICU. Responsibilities include assessing patients, interpreting clinical data, developing and executing individualized care plans, and ensuring safe delivery of interventions. The CN engages with patients families, promotes family-centered care, collaborates with the healthcare team, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, and 0 years of experience.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN must have a current California nursing license, BLS certification, and be able to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations. They will use available technology for communication and documentation and participate in team activities, meetings, and continuous learning.
