The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in a healthcare facility environment. Job Details

  • Position Description:
    This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. It is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered and utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide appropriate care based on patient data, developmental age, and individual needs.
  • Required Qualifications:
    Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, or temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure; BLS certification; experience in an acute care hospital setting or physician practice within the past 12 months; and a minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Schedule:
    Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information:
    The RN will be responsible for patient assessment, planning, direct care delivery, and documentation, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and regulations. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care, with opportunities to participate in educational activities and quality improvement initiatives.
