Job Summary
The organization is seeking a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) registered nurse for a temporary assignment. The role involves providing specialized care to post-operative patients in a Level III trauma center, with responsibilities spanning preoperative, postoperative, and PACU phases. The position requires adaptability to float between units as needed.

Job Details

  • Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are required.
  • Education Requirements: Valid licensure in the applicable state; compact license accepted.
  • Location Requirements: Must hold a valid license in the state of employment with a 50-mile local radius.
  • Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required.
  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.
  • Responsibilities include working in pre-op, post-op, and PACU settings, with the ability to manage various patient care needs and monitor patients using End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and other specialized procedures.
  • Candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience, and references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years are required during the compliance process.
  • Must be willing to work three of the five major holidays and may be required to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted location.
  • Travel compliance requirements include verifying prior work at a healthcare facility, providing references, and adhering to specific scheduling and assignment policies.
