Job Summary
The organization is seeking a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) registered nurse for a temporary assignment. The role involves providing specialized care to post-operative patients in a Level III trauma center, with responsibilities spanning preoperative, postoperative, and PACU phases. The position requires adaptability to float between units as needed.

Job Details

Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are required.
Education Requirements: Valid licensure in the applicable state; compact license accepted.
Location Requirements: Must hold a valid license in the state of employment with a 50-mile local radius.
Years of Experience: 0 years minimum required.
Schedule: 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.
Responsibilities include working in pre-op, post-op, and PACU settings, with the ability to manage various patient care needs and monitor patients using End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and other specialized procedures.
Candidates must have at least one year of clinical experience, and references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years are required during the compliance process.
Must be willing to work three of the five major holidays and may be required to float between sister facilities nearby your contracted location.
Travel compliance requirements include verifying prior work at a healthcare facility, providing references, and adhering to specific scheduling and assignment policies.
