Job Summary
The MS Ambulatory Care Medical Surgical Skilled Professional is based in an outpatient setting. This role involves providing hands-on nursing care to patients within the scope of practice defined by regulatory standards, hospital policies, and the California Nursing Practice Act. The Professional collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week
• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree, Location, and Experience: CA-Registered Nurse (RN), Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, 1-year clinical experience required
• Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse (CN) performs all steps of the nursing process, including assessing patients, interpreting data, planning, implementing, and evaluating care. They educate patients and families on self-care, monitor practice for safety and compliance, and contribute to team development and ongoing learning in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
