Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT) for a temporary assignment in an acute care facility. The role involves assisting in a variety of complex surgeries and supporting high-level neuro, robotics, and pediatric procedures within a busy Level II pediatric trauma center with a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: BLS, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Washington state license (must be in hand or have proof of application submitted over six weeks ago).
• Position Type: Temporary, part-time, with a focus on supporting pediatric and adult surgical cases.
• Schedule: Multiple options available, including 8-hour days (06:45 AM - 02:15 PM), 10-hour days (06:45 AM - 05:15 PM), 12-hour days (06:45 AM - 07:15 PM), and 12-hour nights (06:45 PM - 07:15 AM), at a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Job Responsibilities: Scrubbing above case types including neurosurgery, ophthalmology, robotics, ENT, general surgeries, and more. Experience in robotics and high-level neuro preferred. Ability to float to PICU for procedures and assist in NICU if needed. Night on-call responsibilities about twice a month with a 30-minute response time; on-call is optional.
• Required Skills: Expertise in scrubbing for diverse case types; preferred skills include robotics, high-level neuro, ophthalmology, and dental specialties.
• Travel and On-Call: Candidates should be available for occasional on-call duties, approximately two weeknights and one weekend shift every six weeks.
• Start Date: September 21, 2026, with an end date of December 19, 2026.
