Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care within a versatile unit that includes telemetry, neuro stepdown, and cardiovascular care. The role requires flexibility in float assignments across multiple units and campuses, with a focus on patient stability and acute condition management.
Job Details
- Certifications & Qualifications: BLS, NIHSS Certifications required; ACLS preferred. Must have a Missouri or Compact state license and 0-2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Responsibilities: Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, care for patients post-cardiac cath, and address conditions such as sepsis, renal failure, stroke, COVID-19, and other acute or chronic diagnoses. Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations using specialized equipment such as 12-lead EKG, AirVo, and Omnicell.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be open to short-term assignments from September 28, 2026, to December 28, 2026; must complete compliance modules and EMR training prior to start.
