Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse Nights located at the organizations healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients in a 22-room, 42-bed unit with an average census of 40-42 patients. The position requires strong clinical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to float within related units as needed.

Job Details

  • Position Description: MS/Tele RN Nights 36 hours per week, scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM, every other weekend. The role includes screening first-time travelers with strong skill and experience, and working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.
  • Required Qualifications: Active RN license in Maryland or a Compact state, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications; minimum of 2 years of recent experience in medical surgical and telemetry units; experience with patient ratios of 4-5 patients per nurse; proficient in charting with Epic; experience in community hospital or trauma units preferred.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Additional Information: The position involves managing adult and geriatric patients with complex needs, performing procedures such as blood draws, managing IVs, and monitoring cardiac rhythms. Floating within related units is required, and pre-scheduled on-call shifts are not part of this role. Candidates must be willing to adhere to compliance and onboarding requirements, including laboratory tests within 72 hours of signing the contract and completion of non-billable modules prior to start date.
