Job Summary
Neuro Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU Neuro RN) Locations: [Location unspecified]. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with neurological conditions in a critical care setting. The position requires a strong skill set in neuro ICU patient management, focusing on complex neurological diagnoses and the use of specialized equipment.
Job Details
- Position Description: Neuro ICU RN working nights, 36 hours per week, with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM7:30 AM).
- Required Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact state RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. CPI and NIHSS are preferred. Must have at least 2 years of experience in neuro ICU.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Successful candidates will float within the specialty as needed, including to lower acuity units. Expected to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays. On-call duties may be required. The unit is equipped with advanced neuro-specific monitoring and treatment devices, and typical patient diagnoses include acute ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, and post-craniotomy care, among others.
- Submission Requirements: Must be available to start on 09/14/2026 and available for 13-week contract periods.
