Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (ICU OH) Registered Nurse (RN) for a nights position. This role involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, and arrhythmias. The RN will deliver high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced HCF environment with a focus on advanced therapy workups, mechanical support devices, and critical interventions.

Job Details

• Position: ICU Cardiovascular RN Nights, 36 hours per week, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30).
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license in MD or a Compact state, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS certifications, and 0 or more years of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification, previous charge experience, community hospital and LTAC experience, trauma level I or II experience, and travel experience.
• Responsibilities: Managing adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiovascular diagnoses, bedside line insertions, bronchoscopy, chest tube management, Swan-Ganz catheter insertions, targeted temperature management, and CRRT. Utilizing special equipment such as Impella, VAD, IABP, CRRT, Vent, Cooling Devices, and CCO Monitors. Providing care for patients on ECMO, ventilated patients, and those with multisystem organ failure.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Floating within the specialty and to lower acuity units may be required; on-call duties may be scheduled. Candidates must have experience with critical cardiovascular procedures and monitoring systems, be comfortable with new technologies, and adhere to compliance and onboarding requirements.
