Job Summary
Pre-Op Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Wichita, Kansas. This position involves providing pre-operative care in a dynamic healthcare environment, supporting patients through procedures such as surgery, endoscopy, and outpatient infusions. The role requires collaboration with medical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Job Details

• Position requires current acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience with a minimum of 1-year in a similar role.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Education: Relevant nursing degree with active licensure.
• Location: Wichita, KS.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• On-call requirements: Yes, with a 30-minute response time, including 2 to 10-hour shifts every 8 weeks.
• Responsibilities include administering medications, preparing patients for surgery, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures such as blood transfusions and outpatient EKGs.
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records and preoperative procedures such as urology, gynecology, and other outpatient surgeries is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers is essential.
