Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Iowa This position involves providing urgent care as part of an interdisciplinary team in a busy trauma center. The role requires clinical expertise in emergency nursing, with responsibilities encompassing patient management, care coordination, and adhering to trauma and emergency protocols.
Job Details
- Position Description: Contributing professional and clinical knowledge within the emergency department, with potential to float across local campuses within the same discipline.
- Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
- Education & Licenses: Iowa state RN license, valid drivers license, and proof of required certifications.
- Experience: 0 years minimum experience required.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with availability to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
- Minimum Qualifications: This role requires emergency nursing credentials, current state licensure, and compliance with the specified certifications.
- Additional Information: Must have taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility, and work history/resume, skills checklist, license verification, and at least one supervisory reference required at submission.
