Job Summary
Neuro/stroke/neurosurgery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a Tier 1 Level 3 NICU in an acute care facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care on a step down neuro-surgical unit, supporting patients with neurological and stroke diagnoses in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Job Details

Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH (National Institutes of Health) certificate, and 1 year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro/stroke/neurosurgery patients, proficiency with Cerner electronic health records, outgoing personality.
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neuro/stroke/neurosurgical patients, monitor patient vital signs and neurological status, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.
Additional Information: The unit comprises 20 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1, utilizing equipment such as massimo vital sign machines. Knowledge of electronic health record systems and NIH certification are preferred. The role requires flexibility for unit rotation if needed.
