Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Missouri. This position entails providing direct patient care in a high-need medical surgical unit within the facility. The RN will utilize nursing processes to deliver patient care, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and adherence to professional standards during their night shift.

Job Details

• Position Description: This role involves using the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability, evaluating treatment effectiveness, coordinating care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license valid in Missouri; BLS certification from the American Heart Association; at least 1 year of inpatient Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience; Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and reposition patients, with the ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs.
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for providing care to patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes. The position involves working on a high acuity unit with variable bed counts and patient ratios, utilizing electronic medical records.
