Job Summary
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Springfield, MO. This position involves providing direct patient care within a high-need telemetry unit, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for diverse age groups. The role requires maintaining professional accountability and coordinating with multiple departments to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications: Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS from AHA, Must have 4 trauma credits OR must have them completed within the first two weeks from start, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
- Experience: 1 year Telemetry and inpatient nursing experience, with competence in drug titration
- Schedule: Night shift, 1900-0700, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality, evaluates effectiveness of care, and coordinates patient care with ancillary departments. The role includes physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance, along with exposure to blood and body fluids.
