Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Located in an organization that prioritizes patient safety and quality care. The RN will participate actively in patient assessments, discharge planning, and clinical team collaboration to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: The RN maintains high standards of patient care by following care plans, supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, and promoting safety. The RN assesses patients within 8 hours of admission, collaborates with team members, and ensures accurate documentation. Responsibilities include patient education, discharge planning, and supporting a team-oriented environment on an assigned unit.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS (as specified), valid nurse license, and a minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN performs clinical assessments, initiates discharge planning from the day of admission, and provides direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and professional development, with opportunities for charge responsibilities following orientation.
