Job Summary
OR Technician, Surgical Technician/Operating Room Tech Located at the healthcare organization's facility. This role involves preparing the operating room, including sterilizing the sterile field, setting up surgical equipment and supplies, and managing the sterile environment during surgical procedures. The position requires certification and provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical team setting.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program; at least 2 years of experience, including prior travel experience.
• Schedule: Dayshift, M-F, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room, including sterile fields and surgical equipment; pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to the surgeon during procedures; organize and manage surgical equipment and specimens; maintain sterile environment and perform sponge and supply counts.
• Additional Information: The role is located at a facility that operates on a PWP basis, meaning payment is contingent upon facility payment. All travel submissions must meet the minimum experience and prior travel experience criteria; no local candidates will be accepted. Occasional call may be required.
