Job Summary:
Pediatric Psychology (Psych RN) in Westbrook, Maine. This role involves providing specialized mental health care for adolescent patients with complex psychiatric conditions, including thought disordered, psychotic, personality disorder, and manic episodes. The position requires clinical expertise in acute adult mental health within a pediatric psychology setting.

Job Details:

• Role: Psych RN Pediatric Psychology
• Location: Westbrook, Maine
• Shift: Evenings, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, with 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Position Information: ICU role in a 6-bed adolescent unit, primarily handling patients with acute mental health conditions
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, de-escalation skills, experience with acute adult mental health, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, and education modules relevant to psychiatric nursing
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with thought disordered, psychotic, personality disorder, or manic patients
• Additional Information: Must have strong de-escalation skills and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations. The dress code is business casual, with no ripped jeans, shorts, logo T-shirts, or open-toed shoes.
