Job Summary
NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves attending high-risk deliveries, caring for neonates between 29-34 weeks of gestation, and providing specialized neonatal care. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional to support neonatal patients with complex medical needs.

Job Details

Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Education Requirements: Valid RN license verified via Nursys, with at least 2 years of recent NICU experience preferred
Location Requirements: Valid California State RN licensure
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required, with a total of at least 2 years of professional experience preferred
Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Responsibilities include attending high-risk neonatal deliveries, providing care for neonates 29-34 weeks of gestation, and managing high-risk deliveries with specialized procedures and equipment.
Submission of work history and certifications required within specified deadlines to proceed with onboarding.
Candidates must have proficient charting system experience and patient ratio experience relevant to NICU care.
Additional information: Interdisciplinary support, multiple high-acuity neonatal diagnoses, and specific unit procedures.
