Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Night Shift Location not specified. This position involves providing urgent and critical care in an acute care environment with a focus on trauma and emergency response. The ER supports a diverse patient population with a mix of provider coverage including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Job Details

• Certifications and Education Requirements: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS, PALS (American Heart Association); willing to wait for license submission.
• Required Qualifications: ER experience with a minimum of 2 years, current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications, valid drivers license, and compliance with licensure requirements.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include delivering patient care in a high-volume emergency setting, managing trauma cases, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Additional Information: The ER has 8 beds, patient-to-nurse ratios generally between 1 to 2, and a daily census of approximately 29. The unit typically does not require on-call duty unless requested. Charting is done via EPIC electronic health record system. No BSN required, but licensure submission must be completed. The assignment begins on 09/07/2026 and ends on 12/07/2026.
