Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location: Not Specified. The healthcare provider is seeking experienced ER nurses for night shifts at an acute care facility. The position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment, working alongside a team including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

Job Details

• Certifications required: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA), Basic Life Support (AHA), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA).
• Education and licensure requirements: Valid license to practice, willing to wait for licensure submission.
• Experience required: Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional unit details: ER has 8 beds with an average daily census of 29 patients; nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1 to 4, generally 1 to 2.
• Charting system: EPIC.
• Unit specifics: Provider with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, no on-call unless requested.
• Unit policies: Cancellations include up to 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for shorter assignments.
• Required documentation: Copy of unexpired driver's license to be submitted.
• Notes: 50-mile radius rule from the organization; candidate must be willing to wait on licensure to submit application.
• Shift details: 12-hour night shifts, weekend requirements every other weekend.
