Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse located in the healthcare setting, this position involves providing routine and complex patient care on a Medical Surgical unit. The role requires practicing independently while demonstrating awareness of essential clinical and operational aspects, ensuring quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to develop long-range goals or plans, and manages contingencies in a clinical setting. Responsible for making appropriate assignments and delegations to care providers to help manage clinical situations.
• Certifications and Education Requirements: BLS certification via AHA required; RN license in state of employment or with a compact license; Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, from 7 AM to 7 PM.
• Additional Information: The position is full-time with the ability to float to all Medical/Surgical departments as needed. The RN will work 2 to 4 weekend shifts per month, with an on-call requirement of 2 to 4 shifts per month. No administrative or facility-based notes are included.
