Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a temporary position in the Intensive Care Unit. The role involves providing critical patient care in a short-term acute care setting, with responsibilities including monitoring complex conditions, managing ventilated patients, and administering emergency medications. The position requires flexibility to float between units as needed.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; Valid state license, with a compact license accepted
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Responsibilities include: Managing ventilated patients, arterial line management, blood product administration, ICU-specific procedures such as ICP monitoring, external ventricular drain care, GI surgery care, and more
• Additional requirements: Must have a vehicle for the assignment and be willing to float to other units or facilities to meet staffing needs
• Preferred qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, ICU patient management, and trauma level care
• Candidates must provide two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years prior to start
• Flexibility to work at least three of five major holidays is required
