Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a short-term assignment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This position involves floating between units within a short-term acute care facility, providing critical care to adult patients. The role requires adherence to clinical standards and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: ICU RN working in a short-term acute care setting, with responsibilities including comprehensive patient care and monitoring for adult patients. The position requires float capabilities across units as needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications, 2 years of ICU experience, skills in arterial line management, vent management, and critical patient interventions.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 09/21/2026 and ending on 12/21/2026.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, and previous float experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have a vehicle for assignment, commit to holiday coverage (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day), and be available for potential floating to sister facilities. References covering the last 3 years are required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should verify if they have worked at a Providence facility in any capacity, including dates and locations.
