Job Summary
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a healthcare facility in Loma Linda, California. This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients across various ICU units, with responsibilities including invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation management, and emergency response. The position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

  • Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Education & Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 1 year of ICU experience, with a preferred minimum of 0 years of experience in critical care settings
  • Location Requirements: Must be currently licensed or eligible for licensure in California
  • Responsibilities include: Hemodynamic monitoring (invasive and non-invasive), mechanical ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, vasopressor administration, chest tubes and drainage systems, critical care medication titration, advanced cardiac monitoring, defibrillators, and external pacemakers, blood product administration, emergency response, and code situations.
  • Additional job expectations: Ability to float across various adult ICU units and other acute care environments within the organization, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Experience in level I trauma and teaching hospitals, as well as previous float pool or multi-unit experience, is strongly preferred.
