Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Overlook. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative patient care, supporting surgical teams, and ensuring safety and professionalism throughout the surgical process. Candidates will perform assessments, document care, and engage in patient education within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides all aspects of patient assessment, clinical skills, documentation, professionalism, patient satisfaction, safety, unit-specific functions, responsibility, and accountability aligned with perioperative care standards. Supports pre-operative and post-operative assessments, evaluates patient understanding, and assists with testing procedures.
• Certifications/Education/Experience: Valid RN license, graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. BLS certification is required; CNOR certification is preferred.
• Specialty: Operating Room
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Skills: Patient assessment, clinical skills, emergency equipment operation, documentation, patient education
• Additional Information: Supports completion of patient testing in a timely manner, evaluates pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness, and preps for surgical procedures including robotics, orthopedic, neuro, and general surgery. Must be able to scrub and circulate in various surgical specialties.
