Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Overlook. This position involves delivering comprehensive perioperative patient care within a surgical environment. The role requires assessment, documentation, and support of patients throughout pre-operative and post-operative phases, ensuring safety and high patient satisfaction.

Job Details

• Location: Overlook
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 0 years of experience; experience with patient assessment, clinical skills, emergency equipment operation, documentation, and patient education.
• Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification; experience supporting pre-operative and post-operative assessments; familiarity with pre-admission testing evaluation.
• Additional Job Functions: Demonstrates knowledge of surgical conditions, diagnoses, procedures, and equipment; supports patient education and documentation; contributes to the perioperative team by prioritizing patient care based on needs; evaluates pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness.
• Schedule Details: 12-hour shifts from 7a to 8p, supporting the preparation, operation, and post-operative care of surgical patients.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate competency in operative assessment skills, emergency equipment operation, documentation, and patient education.
